The pool and sauna were wonderful
I had lunch in the Bistro. As I am coeliac, I asked for suitable food. The only think the staff could come up with was a plate of champ and some vegetables. I was charged 6.70 Euros for this - totally exorbitant! and hard on people like me, whose needs are poorly catered for. I would hope you could do better.

Staff were very friendly on arrival.we were going to a wedding in another hotel girl at reception rang a taxi for us.
Reakfast was not the best.staff in the breakfast room were not as friendly as reception staff.

We had a lovely break at the Glenroyal in Maynooth. For us the location was ideal playing the k club on saturday and travelling to mayo match on sunday by train.

Fantastic Leisure complex......really liked the adult pool area. Very helpful staff in the Restaurant and at Reception.
Having Wi-fi limited to lobby/ public areas is an annoyance now that we are becoming accustomed to more general access to wi-fi in hotel bedrooms.

I liked the quietness during the night, no traffic noises etc.all the facilities were more than adequate for my requirements.

The hotel is very close to the university where we were attending a conference.It is also close to the main street with the usual amenities close by.
The decor is very dated with dark woodwork and a patterned red carpet. It needs an update to give it a more modern and brighter look.
