The location was good.
I chose the hotel in particular on the basis it said it had sky sports in the lobby if not available in rooms. The day before checking in I was told sky sports was not working in the lobby and was very disappointed and if possible I would have changed my hotel. The food was not of a high standard.

Staff on duty at night. Good service. Extremely comfortable bed. Fresh air in bedroom.
Rather far from the airport. Crowded breakfast room with a narrow counter, so a queue for everything at breakfast.

The room was very nice, with a queen bed that you could alter the mattress on and make softer or harder. Nice shower, fresh, soft towels and an ice machine on the first floor which was excellant for drinks in your room.
Although the breakfast had a good, varied choice the queues were terrible and by the time I had got some toast and made it back to my table the cooked food was nearly cold. I also had to put three plates to one side before I found one that was clean as they seemed to still have food stuck to them. This was such a shame and not typical of the cleanliness of the rest of the hotel.

We were very comfortable, the bed particularly so (a restless sleeper did not prevent their partner having a peaceful night!).
Breakfast was excellent. Having an egg cooked just the way I like it was a treat. And there was real maple syrup to go with the waffles, not 'maple flavoured syrup'.
It was great value for money because we got a 'deal'. I would not ordinarily pay the full listed price for a room except for a very special occasion.

The warm welcoming staff made our stay very pleasant. Our requests were atended to promptly. The room was wonderful. The breakfast was well presented and well presented. Overall, a pleassant 2 days spent at the Hilton. Hilton never disappoints
