Main reason for choosing Sidney Hotel London Victoria: Rate
Helpful staff. Good and adequate breakfast. Room clean, bathroom excellent and appeared newer than rest of facilities. Close to transport, particularly Victoria and Pimlico Underground and Trafalgar Square bus stop right outside the front door. Appreciate shuttle service to Heathrow at end of stay.
The room I had was described as a 'double' but more appropriately should be termed a 'single'. Small double bed took up most of the space, a smaller single bed would have been more appropriate - there was nowhere to put any luggage and the only chair was inside the clothes cupboard. A more accurate description would help a couple who would no doubt complain about serious lack of space. However, being London, this is to be expected - but not everyone has prior experience with London lower-priced hotels.

Location is close to Buckingham Palace. Bathrooms in the rooms were nice.
Uncomfortable mattress on the bed. Elevator was very small and unstable.

All hotel is kept clean, cosy, and inviting.
Very friendly breakfast and room-servicing staff.
Good value for money.
Very frequent 24-hour bus service and central, with a stop right next to the entrance.
Close to Pimlico Tube Station.
Round breakfast tables too small.
Most of reception staff did not smile when talked to, although there are exceptions.
Music on TV is against payment.
Inoperable Internet TV (keyboard batteries drained?).

Architecturally charming hotel in a neighborhood "Victorian" close to Victoria Station. Fairly easy access either by the underground (Pimlico or Victoria) or by buses (24 at the door of the hotel), 73 from Victoria, etc which provide easy access to downtown, museums, etc..
Cramped rooms, staff are just lovely, the buffet breakfast is just okay.

Excellent value for money, super friendly personnel, really very helpful. Great location. Very clean. Have already recommended this hotel to other friends who are thinking of going to London for a short trip. My son is thinking of going with his girlfriend next month as well.
My daugher and I would definitely go back to this hotel as its ideal.
Nothing .. value for money and ideal for the long weekend trip to London.

The fact that the beds are comfortable
Yes, the blinds were broken so the wind passed underneath, not easy to sleep with the wind in the eyes and legs. c and c true that quite narrow. but it was good. Thank you very much.
