Main reason for choosing Hilton London Paddington: Location
It is was comfortable and quiet, nice furnishings & great staff. Unfortunately, we exited the Tube on the opposite side & our navigation system could not tell us how to go directly from the Heathrow Express platform into the back door of the Hotel. We walked about a mile dragging our suitcases over cobblestones. Silly us. It was much easier than we realized. Next time we will know: Walk out the door on Queen Street or from the train platform, up the escalator to the back door.

All the above! A lovely place. Very nice all around. Enjoyed the old photographs on the walls in the hallway. Comfortable room.
Couldn't get the shower to work,it said push button, but there wasn't one.
The deco style is very nice, but Victorian would have suited the building better.

As we travel by train to arrive in Paddington, it is the most convenient hotel for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We found the room too dark even with all the lights on.

The bedroom was perfect. Roomy, stylish, clean. Bit mean with tea bags and chocolate drink would have been welcome.
Some staff spoke with strong foreign accent so hard to understand. Dinner passable, but breakfast experience dismal No waiters, seats that sank to the ground. Went elsewhere.

I have travelled worldwide as a construction lawyer and international arbitrator (see Google, if you wish), staying in hotels including the Plaza Athene in Paris, Shangri-la in Singapore, Claridges in London, and the help I received at the Paddington Hilton when I became ill with a kidney stone was absolutely outstanding. I cannot speak too highly of the Reception staff, especially the night manager, and the Concierge and his staff. Max Abrahamson
