Previous stays have been satisfactory.however this time it was dreadful!!!

Totally unhappy with our stay this time,on Saturday night we could not have a meal or drink in the bar due to the fact that had wedding had taken over the bar and restaurant.There was a terrible band which was so noisy you could not have a conversation.This should have been in a function room it was a total disgrace that other residents had no where to go.We had to go elsewhere and were very annoyed and to be perfectly honest your reception staff did not give a damn. We had no hot water for two days and our room was freezing. Business associates called the hotel and had got a room inclusive of breakfast for half of what we paid on the hilton website even though we had called and enquired about the advertised 50% discount in January,so why were we refused and why were they able to get a better deal. Also at check out one of your staff was less than polite and should not be dealing with guests as he has a very unfriendly manner.This is not just our opinion as he was rude also to a colleague from Denmark. We travel all over the world for business and pleasure and we have never experienced anyone quite like this he should not be dealing with guests! So we hope you will respond to this otherwise we will have wasted our time writing this mail. We do have this staff members name as he told us contact the guest relations manager as he quite frankly was disinterested in our dissatisfaction. He told us she was not available and scribbled her name on a ripped piece of paper and told us to look up the telephone number ourselves. We were rushing to catch a flight and have not had the time to go further with this,however we will.
