Doubletree by Hilton London Marble Arch

I booked the hotel for two things: (a) a its location (b) airconditioning. The hotel location is excellent. Howevever thought the reception has been upgraded and look quite nice the hotel still needs some refurbishment. Regargding the aircondition this does not work at all. When I enquired and complaint they told me it is to old. Its not nice that you advertise your hotel that you have airconditioning when it actually does not exist. One of the days was terrible hot and my room was so hot as the airconditioning did not function that I could not sleep not night. This make the hotel not good for summer period.

On my first visit I had a double room which was worth my money, the single room though was not worth the money I paid. The shower head needs to be repaired. It is pointless to insist on the shower curtain being in the tub when the water spills over the top of the curtain.
