Spent one night during a short tour. Perfect location for shopping - straight across from M & S, NEXT, TK Maxx etc. etc. Although we didn't want to eat in the hotel the staff recommended a couple of restaurants which were within walking distance and I can recommend the Italian restaurant. A very pleasant stay.
