A relaxing hotel and friendly staff
Background music in bar area rather intrusive.
Shower although convenient to use could do with refurbishing. The handbasin was much too small for use.

We arrived late around 11.30 p.m. and the reception we received was welcoming and efficient. We then had a few drinks and I want to thank the very kind waiter who had to stay up just to look after us!! I thought the Breakfast was excellent and I found my bedroom overlooking the wood was calming and pleasing. Thank you for a lovely stay even though it was brief. Also I will return the key card which I found at the bottom of my bag on the way to London!

The bed was so comfortable. the country park immediately to the rear is ideal for walking my dog.

Most definitely would return and use the facilities again. Small, clean compact room with everything you would need.
I did have to ring up and chase my breakfast one morning as it failed to show up at the time I had requested. Eventually turned up 40mins late.
