Ideal location for this charming hotel, comfortable room, clean and spacious room with beautiful sea views Hearty breakfast buffet. We spent a great weekend, thank you!

The price is a bit high, so the room for breakfast. But the authenticity of the place still worth it!

This hotel is only for its location and history ... And the receptionist is friendly!

The location and name of the hotel are all excuses to attract customers who want to stay on Mt. There is no competition. Above all, the rooms are basic, the bathrooms old and in poor condition and most importantly, there is no service, both at the hotel restaurant. If it were not for the location, the hotel would be empty and desperate would naturally never practice their quotes.

The 1st night was wonderful! Beautiful castel, very nice young lady checked us in, nice experiences in the bar and restaurant. It was all so nice we asked to stay a 2nd night, and unfortunately the 2nd night ruined the "nice" experience for us...

We returned, tired, for the 2nd night stay around 11p.m.after driving around Normandy all day. There was a piece of equipment directly under our bedroom window that sounded like a jet engine in our room! My husband thought someone may have forgot to turn the kitchen fan off, but we aren't sure what that thing was. Regardless, we were unable to sleep because of the terrible noise and there was no one at reception to complain to & get it turned off. We probably got (maybe) 3 hours sleep. When checking out we advised the receptionist how unhappy we were & why... She promply made out our bill which included a large charge for dinner the previous night (when we weren't there). She did take that charge off, but completely ignored our complaint. We've never had such a miserable night in a hotel! Frankly, I felt like stopping the charge on our credit card because I resent paying for a room to sleep in when their loud noise prevented sleeep!!! We left very unhappy, which was a shame as the 1st night, as I said was very satisfactory. By the way,the loud noise started early the next morning after our 1st night we stay but at least we'd gotten sleep during the night.

Location and ambiance.

Restaurant and hotel staff were remarkably rude. Room was expensive but adequate. The food was dramatically overpriced and unimaginative. Several other places on the island were far more pleasant and altho expensive provided a better dining experience.

The surroundings of historical reference and traditions of that region. Its excellent location at the entrance to the walls of Mont Saint Michel and panoramic view, can not go wrong.

The notorious Madame Poulard omelette tastes ... but do not argue and the meal prices (too high) but with good service.

Great location, wonderful staff, great room!! The bar (two glasses of wine) and breakfast was a bit expensive ... and I would have liked to know the price prior. I likely would have still done the breakfast but I might not have had two glasses of wine. LOVED the photos throughout!! I would stay again!!

A pleasant stay in a mythical place full of history to a period of relative calm, without forgetting the famous omelet. One point may be the price of wine, cider and water, which significantly increases the cost of the meal. A birthday gift that has delighted for an exceptional event. Drahi Regards Colette

We did not expect an ensuite bath and were pleasantly surprised. The facility was fine but faced the cliff rather than the sea, a modest sacrifice for the benefit of silence.
