Central position
Booked a twin bed room. Air con did not work (on a very hot night), were offered another room but told it could not be made into twin beds for more than an hour - this was already late at night. Never mind we thought, the hotel's promise "We'll fix it in 15 mins or the room is on us" would make up for this inconvenience. However, we were told that the promise did not apply in this case - !!??

Central location
Yes - we booked a room with twin beds but found the air con did not work and it was a very hot day. We were moved to a room with a double bed but were told it could not be converted to two singles for an hour - well after we wanted to be asleep. When I pointed out the Ibis promise "We'll fix your problem in 15 mins or the room is on us" we were told this didn't apply!!??
