Main reason for choosing Kinsale Hotel & Spa: Rate
The peace and quiet. Room nicely decorated and very clean.
Breakfast has the fast food appeal about it, no choice with how you would like your eggs done. Shower head broken and no hairdryer in room rang reception still no hairdryer delivered to room. On checking in there was a wedding drinks reception in lobby found it very hard to hear receptionist with all the background noise. Bar man (I cannot recall his name)from South Africa, a very friendly welcoming manner,a great asset to the hotel.

I found the room very dark. it was impossible to put make up on and very difficult to read. we were staying there with another couple and they had a standard lamp in their room which seemed to help. we had no such thing. i did mean to say this to the staff but forgot. other than that, it was brillian.

Good size room. Excellent shower/bath. Pool and steam room. Shuttle bus to Kinsale useful in evenings.
Modern hotel. Air conditioned. Some parts like bar area showing wear.

Lovely hotel. Clean bright and airy. Great views too. Beds were so comfy. Would definitely recommend it. The hotel also operated a bus shuttle service to and from Kinsale which was really handy.
The only criticism I have and this applies to the majority of hotels I've stayed in is that they are always TOO WARM. Please turn down the heating!! The air con in our room wasn't working properly. We opened the windows but had to close them soon after to block out the noise from the wedding party. Aside from the above it was a really nice hotel and I would go back and stay there.
