Kiltimagh Park Hotel

I enjoyed my stay very much as the location way excellent for my stay as I have family in the area and had other relations staying there too. The staff were very friendly and the accommodating. I found that having a schuttle bus to Knock International Airport was very convenient and helpful. Many thanks.

Friendly helpful staff Claire the manager and Stephen the barman. Food was very good and cooked with great care, particularly breakfast.

The warm welcome and the unflagging energy and smile of Marinna who seemed to multi task with ease!

One room was a little light during the night from an external light; not a complaint as it is a personal preference for complete darkness

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was a problem. Very relaxed. Food was top notch and room was very nice! Enjoyed our stay so much we booked another night. Would definitely return.

The staff are excellent. The room was spacious.

Our booking was for two rooms but only one was available on arrival, despite us having a confirmation printout to hand. A suggestion was made that we (two couples) shared the available room , which had two beds! Eventually, we were given a Disabled room, which had only a disabled shower and no bath, had no handle on the bathroom door (it was on the floor) and the bathroom door itself was jammed half open and half shut, making it impossible for anyone using the toilet or shower not to be in full view of the other occupant of the room. There was also a really awful smell, which was also noticeable outside and appeared to come from the drains. There were only three hangers in the wardrobe and no remote control for the television. Our complaints resulted in a visit , over an hour later, from a man whom we assumed to be a maintenance man but discovered later was the manager! who offered neither a greeting nor an apology . He put something down the drain of the shower which made a slight improvement but made no effort to close door. He left to obtain a remote control but did not return. His behaviour was not echoed by his staff team, who offered us another room the following morning, which was satisfactory, and indeed did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. However, on the Monday morning, going down to breakfast at about 9.15am, we were met by one member of staff, who was trying to take orders , cook breakfasts, serve and clear for about twenty guests and who told us that she actually worked in the bedrooms and not in the Dining room at all but was doing her best to cope. She said she had informed the Manager at about 7.15am but he had not appeared nor arranged further help. We left the dining room at approx. 10.30am and she was still toiling alone. No apology nor explanation was made for any of the above and needless to say, we will definitely not be staying there again nor recommending anyone else to do so.
