Holiday Inn Express London - Newbury Park, an IHG Hotel

The friendly staff

Vent in bedroom blowing extreamly cold air.television not good.

The morning staff managed to book me in early by giving me another room and also any questions were never a problem

The breakfast said full english but all it was is scambled egg / beans and beef sausages and they always kept runing out . the staff were poor in organising hot replacements to the items listed so breakfast took along time due to waiting . a larger area for hot food would be better , but this is only a small moan as we enjoyed our stay

We were situated on the third floor and requested a non-smoking room. We were given a non-smoking room, however, to gain access to our room (317) we had to walk through the smoking area (which was situated on the same floor with only double doors to separate us from the smokers) it stunk! we had to hold our breaths and run along the corridor! If you are to offer smoking can you not put them on the top floor away from everyone else and away from our 3 year old girl? we could smell the smoke in our room! Awful! The second bed was very uncomfortable given the price we understood that this would be a second bed. location good but would not stay there in future due to above.

Very friendly and helpful staff. welcoming reception area well laid out,adequate free parking. Well situated with easy access to public transport.

Twin bedded room with only one chair? beds are for lying on and donot make comfortable seats over a long period. Breakfast was sparse, plates, scrambled eggs, and beans, were cold, only fresh roll warm, toast and tea/coffee were hot. Allowed to watch morning news on two TV during breakfast but needed to be a proficient lip reader, low volume would have sufficed. A failing in all public ammenities (except pubs) throughout England. Easy instructions for room TV operation none existant, trial and error only produced results after about ten minutes. never discovered a use for the keyboard?

The room was very clean and comfortable. It also had a great view. The breakfast was better than expected as hot food was included.

Best holiday innexpress I have stayed at 1. the reception staff were SO pleasant and helpful as was the barman/waiter and 2 a smoking room-BLISS!
