I stayed there twice recently. The check in desk wasn't great. I had a reference and booking for two rooms but was told only one was booked. The Internet reference wasn't looked at. It turned out the second was Under my husbands surname. The rooms were v comfortable and the linen was great. We ate in the dining room. The food was fine, the service appalling. My sons dinner was dropped so he had to wait til we were finished to have his meal! We ordered coffee which only came when we requested again. 30 minutes for coffee is pathetic. Met a nice girl the second time who served us coffee and chocolate in bar. East European. Very good . Keep her on.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The size room is of good quality. The food was excellent. The state of the bathroom could be improved also only having one set of lifts available for the whole hotel is poor. Its a bit hard to find the hotel. I printed down the directions provided that turned out to be not as clear as necessary to find the hotel.

Great view of the airport but the windows are very dirty, which for me is a great put-off because the view and the location are the reasons I chose the hotel. I usually stay at Park Inn because although it's further from the airport, their windows are great. This time they were full and the only room available was at the Renaissance, and it was hugely expensive compared to Park Inn for the same type of room. However, the room service was much better and more reasonably priced. I enjoyed the stay.
