Very pleasant stay.
Note, that it is located near a conference center but is not a walking distance from the center (a 10 euro cab, buses and bikes are avaialbel)

The hotel was modern, with good facilities. Rooms and bathrooms could have been a little roomier. Although near ring road, little noise, as well windows well insulated. Very easy to get into Groningen; short walk to main road and local bus into city. Avoids paying parking fees in Groningen. Hotel parking free.Can also hire free cycles from hotel, first come, first served.Good breakfast.
First guy we met, on reception, was a little 'politely' sarcastic when asked to explain certain arrangements again. When it happened on a 2nd occasion,I pulled him up on it, in Dutch, and he apologised, but it spoiled our first impression at check-in. All other staff very helpful and polite.

I liked the compact, clean room with a single (large) bed. Nicely decorated.
Bathroom was very nice and modern, but....(see next)
The check-in could have gone a little faster, took quite some time, even though I already reserved through internet, so all details were known.
The shower cabin was VERY small. There was room for a larger one, without filling the bathroom.

Quiet and calm, did not hear the doors or elevator or other guests. Recommended only if you have your own car!
We arrived late, due to the long journey. 22.10, we would like our food. Seems they closed the restaurant a little early! at 22.00. We got us a good bread instead. We had no car and wished us a hotel in the center, so it's a bit missvisende / inaccurate description?

Well-appointed hotel, right on the A7. Free parking. Excellent room, nice and functional. Breakfast is good, but what if you later added are not things. If you ask you get it.
