Easy check in. Comfortable bed & cleanliness of room.

Lack of television channels....only the basic ones. On previous visits I struggled with exiting the carpark, on this visit the reception staff operated the security gates making it easier. Other than this I have no complaints.

The bathroom and the bed.

The location ,the breakfast. The barman / waiter on duty in the evening was very attentive and friendly as was the cook /waiter on duty in the morning

The heat in the room was oppressive, the "cooler" in the room just circulated the warm air all night ,there was no toilet brush in the toilet , this is an Accor thing , I worked in Accor when all the brushes were withdrawn from the UK hotels and amongst the British this is very unpopular , don't know why it is done as in France Camponiles and the like have them, we brits like to clean up after ourselves. The sink leaked in the room ,being an ex manager I just got under the sink and tightened up all the sink fittings as to avail of the Ibis 15 minutes thing can be trying after a long drive and I could sort it out myself , it is a job the cleaners should check whilst cleaning. The room was clean but there was a hairgrip on the floor froma previous occupant , my wife did say that it is difficult as the hoovers cannot pick up these items easily ...(ex manageress!). The tv was over complicated when selecting a channel,what is required is a basic model. All the hotels make the same mistake with regards to womens hair dryers,short cables and no where near a mirror , this means that the woman has to stand away from the mirror ,with the hairdryer stretched across the room. 50% of the customers are women and they dictate as to whether the hotel is "fit for purpose!!" , keep them happy and you will always get them returning. Put the tvs back on the wall,with the curtains dragging across the table there is a great danger of the kettle being swept aside .The table below the window is the only place where you can put items , the place where the tv is is where the kettle should be.

It was perfect for our purposes! Close to London but with very easy access to Dover

The fittings in the bathroom were tired and needed replacing: the seat in the shower was rusty and the door to the bathroom had suffered from being (inevitably) wet! The bathroom floor was always wet because of lack of shower tray

It provided a very convenient hotel to let us go into London every day

Some of the fittings, particularly round the shower, were "tired" and need "refreshing"!
