The Ardilaun Hotel

Found the whole atmosphere to be pompous and superior. Seemed to think they were the only decent hotel in Galway. Friends stayed at The G hotel and said it was excellent. The Ardilaun was absurdly overpriced and left a sour taste after paying for terrible service and barely standard accomodation.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpfull I really enjoyed my stay. A bit pricy on the weekends

Our first room was small, musty and foul air evacuation of the kitchen. The windows were quite moldy frame. After lengthy discussions, we got a much nicer room overlooking the garden.

The hospitality of the staff If our stay had been longer, we would have used the spa and gym facilities.

This hotel as an old world charm,with very comfortable and cosy seating areas where you can unwind.The whole decor of the hotel is charming. It also has all mod. cons like a lift, gym and swimming pool. The hotel in my oppinion is for adults and small children, teenagers and young adults would not feel comfortable staying here as it is to quite and the atmosphere is a little sadate.

The food and service was great. The Executive Suite was very disappointing and not good value for money, it was no different to any double room i have stayed in elsewhere.

Convenient and efficiently run.

Friendly staff, cosy bar, rooms a little old fashioned, heating didnt work but staff kindly moved us quickly to another room.
