Main reason for choosing Villa Tuscolana: Location
All the rooms and decoration (the best we have ever seen, with no flaking paint anywhere!) with wood floors in the bedrooms, the view, the location, the polite staff and good breakfast.
The evening dinner was expensive and very poor quality, such as bones and fins in a fish fillet served with truffle sauce!
The extract fans did not work in the ensuite bathrooms.
The location should be quiet, however, noise from talking outside our windows facing the back (no view as well and we were on the 4th floor) caused a sleepless first night.
This was corrected when we asked and were moved to a front facing room for our second night (also on the 4th floor) which also had a much better view.
