I liked the location. It was a central location and easy to get to various districts. The breakfast had a variety of choices which was nice. The deck was very nice but unfortunately it was a little cold and windy to take full advantage of it.
Think an area staff was not very friendly or helpful. I would never stay in the economy rooms again. They are definitely in an area of the hotel that is lesser than the other rooms. I felt we were in a dungeon. It was very warm and the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. We needed to keep the window open and the revelry outside went on until 3:00 a.m.

We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed Florence very much because of the Cavour as well as the town of Florence. We will stay at the Cavour in Florence next year as well.

The sunset view from the roof top is marvelous. The room design was fantastic. So is the bath room.
Communication in English was a little bit difficult at the reception.

Excellent hotel. Fantastic location - close to all major sights. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean, modern and functional. Would definitely recommend.
