A quality hotel well worth a visit if you are staying in Ediburgh.

The staff were polite and friendly and couldnt fault the lovely rooms.
A slight inconvenience, no access directly to the car park.

Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast beautifully presented. Some special touches such as the thistle on the bed on arrival and the weather forcast attached to the morning newspaper. On the whole, most enjoyable.

The informal, yet extremely professional, atmosphere. The doorman, a charming character!
Dust and dirt in the T.V. recess and on the jug kettle. The fact that the water at night was in re-usable bottles - yuk. Really should supply un-used new bottles of water if offering that service.

My only disappointment with the hotel was being charged for Internet access. I believe that hotels of this category (and we stayed in two earlier, in Paris and London) should not charge for providing the password for access. Whenever we travel we need to connect to our office in Brazil and the hotel charged a considerably high value in our opinion (15 pounds per 24 hours).

Loved this hotel - met high expectations. The rooftop garden is amazing. Great breakfast too. A lush hotel in a beautiful city.

Sightseeing. If it had been warmer we would have relaxed in the garden.

Very nice clean hotel, staff very welcoming, room warm & comfortable.

Staff very welcoming, room was clean & warm, bed very comfortable.
Breakfast could have been very nice, nicely presented full cooked breakfast unfortunately tasted of fish!!! Mirror in bedroom far to high to see in for drying and straightning hair no plug close enough to the long mirror. Long walk from reception to room.
