Summer Stays at The University of Edinburgh - Campus Accommodation

Staff were very helpful and on duty 24 hours to help. Canteen very good and had a great variety of breakfast at lots of stations so no waiting in line for most things. All ages catered for in rooms and breakfast and all nationalities to chat to. Easy to get into the city centre by bus.

Troppa luce nelle stanze all'alba: sarebbe utile mettere una persiana o una tenda più scura e grossa sciacquone che non tira, poca acqua: capisco che è ecologico, ma quando uno utilizza il water le cose devono scendere... spesso la stanza non era pulitissima (ho messo il cartello apposito "make up my room" ) : il primo giorno non ce l'hanno proprio fatta. Poi : 1- non è mai stata passata l'aspirapolvere, nè rimosse le cose che erano finite sotto il letto (bottigliette, foglietti); 2- gli asciugamani che , su richiesta , ci cambiavano erano spesso non puliti: una volta c'erano attaccati tanti buschini (forse delle piante?), una volta erano macchiati di giallo-marrone chiaro, una volta c'era l'asciugatura di orecchie altrui...e il copriletto aveva chiazze biancastre...consiglierei di migliorare la pulizia in camera, ecco. la doccia poco funzionale, essendo fissata al muro (ma questo è un gusto personale) wii fii non presente ovunque

I liked that the front desk staff was very helpful and efficient. The dining hall was close to the room and the people working at the bar were very friendly as well. When the dining hall was closed, the bar was open late and had a small but adequate menu for late night eating.

The bathroom was very tiny but I expected this since I knew this was a college dorm. As long as one is knowledgeable up front about what this accommodation is, I think it meets expectations.

Unfortunately we could not use the reservation, by the illness of my wife, who could not travel. We have communicated this hotel. m.vr.gr.

I was in Lee house close to the reception and cafeteria and small goods shop also not far to go to call a cab to take me to where ever I wished to go promptley and efficiently. Returning late at night the lighting on the grounds made me feel safe. Because it was the special festival time of the year your guests young and old had a great feeling of excitement. The management team at the cafeteria was most helpful and very efficient the food proved to be fresh and well presented. Staff at the small good shop also were very helpful and polite

Bed had a very strong lean towards the floor hard to control I put the extra blankets under the leaning side to straighten it up.

Since I had very early on to the airplane, I got no breakfast. I would find it well suited for such cases a packed breakfast to be ready.

The breakfast was very complete and very nice staff. The room was fine.

He should not have wiffi in public areas even in the rooms is something that should have.
