Location is excellent and completely lived up to expectations. Much of this hotel seemed generally more than 3* to me. Really enjoyed our stay.

Location and view from sea-view rooms excellent. Near to many restaurants and easy walk from rail station. Bar area pleasant, good service and again good views. Hotel makes the most of its advantages. Having a covered pool also a good point in off-season.
Breakfast - good range of food on the buffet but quite varied quality and much was disappointing. Dirty plates several days. Changing rooms and cafe etc on pool level were not up to scratch - or indeed open - but there was evidence that work was going on presumably in preparation for main season.

The hotel was well located but the room was extremely tired, the carpet was heavily stained and in desperate need of replacement.

We both totally loved staying at Baia and look forward to our next visit. We will recommend Baia to all our friends.

The cleanliness - the breakfast was very good - the staff at reception most obliging - I can only remember Caithena's name but all the rest of the staff were exceptionally helpful. The staff cleaning the rooms are a treasure.
Just the pillows which we found to be uncomfortable. My wife purchased a pillow in a linen shop near the hotel and as far as I can remember it was named Amazon/Americano - it only cost €9.90 and was very good. You could invest in a pair of pillows per room - keep most of the old ones to use as spares.
