Park Plaza Cardiff

Excellent, nice airy, modern, cool hotel

This is a well-run hotel with accommodation of a high standard. We found the decor rather stark and uninviting, but uniform in style, with some nice modern art work. Beds were comfortable and staff very pleasant and helpful.The location is convenient for St. David's Hall, etc. The car parking arrangement is not perhaps ideal, as one cannot be flexible about the time of leaving - we wanted to load the car and then look around Cardiff, but found we had to depart as soon as the ticket was endorsed at the hotel.

I enjoyed my stay, despite being in the city centre it was not too noisy and having good carpets throughout the upper floors probably helped a lot to subdue the noise. I would definitely choose it again.

Nice clean pleasant hotel. Pity that we could hear the police and ambulance activity in the city all night.

The hotel is ideal for business travellers and those seeking relaxation. The spa and leisure facilities are wonderful for pampering and for keeping in trim, and the restaurant and bar serve a range of excellent quality food and great wines or just coffee to lift the spirit. And, above all, it is right in the centre of town and easily accessible.

I was impressed by the efficiency and friendliness of the staff.
