We liked the stately buildings, lots of space, 5-6 feet to the ceiling and fine service. The place is an ancient spa and a brand madtempel. A walk through the corridors show a wide range of diplomas and medals for best kurvand, best buffet, best restaurant, etc. We had a gourmet dinner with six dishes that made the angels to sing and a red wine in first class. Everything to make decent money. This includes accommodation and breakfast. No one should miss their breakfast buffet. It contains everything you might want to start the day with. Moreover champagne on ice, which you are welcome to take a glass or two. We were there during a day and did not try any of the hotel's many exciting offers. But we look forward to returning one day. An advantage is also that the hotel is only 10 min. drive from Girona airport.
All we want to criticize is that the waiters did not speak much English.
