It was very good cost performance. I enjoyed staying at the comfortable room.
When I left the swimming pool, a young stuff at the reception in the sports gym having a chat with his colleague without seeing me even though he obviously realized I was there. I needed to know where I should put a bath towel so I had been waiting for him. After a while, he just pointed his finger at the end of the counter and said "there" i was confused what it was about. I moved to see the point, there was a place to put the towel. I dont think all of customer put their towels in the basket by themself. It was a bit arrogant, i felt.

The prices for food and drink was crazy, charging 3.50 for service when you ordered food at the bar, every time.

The fact that I was close to the NEC
The food in the main dining room was not up to the standard for the price they charged. A service charge was put onto my account even though I did not have a drink or any extras in the restaurant. The rooms were very hot and the bed was too soft. the toilet seat in my bathroom slide about and was not repaired after I reported it.

Proximity to NEC Exhibition Centre
- No direct shuttle to the airport in Birmingham - which is really not far! - Our flight was at 19.50 at night, if we wanted to keep the room until the 16h it would pay half day in addition .... for 3 hrs more ....?!?
