I had an accident (off site) dring my stay the staff helped me get treatment & providedv facilities to allow me to self-treat as necessary
A better placed hotel for Museum Island is hard to imagine - it was my second visit in two years

Very good location, nice rooms, quiet, mostly friendly staff, competent, helpful
On the morning of departure, we wanted to be woken up, and already this evening, a gentleman at the frontdesk was not what had the courtesy as we were accustomed to see us there, not even the wake-up worked.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable
The only problem was that after leaving the hotel I discovered it had taken out payment for our stay twice. They did reimburse me but due to changes in currency (AUD to EURO) at the time and international banking fees I ended up out of pocket an extra $50AUD. Aside from that though, our stay was very pleasant and I would recommend the hotel - just becareful when paying.

A warm pleasant welcoming atmosphere. Staff were always helpful and obliging especially when we had to extend our stay because of the Icelandic Volcano causing flight cancellations.
There was nothing to dislike about the hotel.
