Surprise! We knew before the renovation of the hotel, and we re-knew no more. Nice modern decor, very friendly staff - unusual in Italy - no blaring TV, a fine breakfast and a good restaurant. Will definitely come back. A special mention for the beautiful Paola wellness center, a feather for her reception.
The wines from the wine tasting area are very uneven levels of quality and therefore (by the glass) too expensive. The menu is fairly limited if you need to stay a few days, but there are excellent pizzerias \ 's and restaurants immediately close.

Location, friendliness of front-desk staff, a lovely assortiment of complementary cosmetic items in the bathroom.
The bread at breakfast was somewhat dried-up. It would be nice to have it fresh.
