I did not like not having any tea pots or cups and saucers, even Bed & Breakfast places use these. The plates for breakfast were cold, therefore by the time I had taken my food back to the table it was luke warm. The marmalade was not visable, and on asking if there was any, a member of staff found some in a cupboard! My mug was chipped and stained on the inside. There were no spare pillows in the bedroom. The side table on one side of the bed had not been wiped from the previous occupant and had sticky rings on it. This was recorded on my survey form which I left at reception.

Staff generally friendly and helpful. The all-English breakfast plentiful and tasty.
Temperature of the common areas to be cooled, some drafts. Vinous varied buffet breakfast products, cheeses only packed three and barely palatable muesli packed only, no whole-grain bread.

Good value for weekend rates Loved the leisure facilities, especially the waterfall into the pool Rooms were clean and well equipped Staff was friendly and helpful Location is easy to find but the closeness to the hospital did make for disturbed nights due to the ambulance sirens. Saturday night was probably worse than it would be during the week.

As a minor point - the wait for a table for Sunday breakfast

All the staff were very friendly and more importantly they were helpful and polite.

We were able to bring our daughter and grandson along to use the pool in Horizons.
Dinner in the restaurant was excellent it is unfortunate more guests did not try it out!

An excellent offer. It was abit difficult to find the location with all the roundabouts to negotiate in Basingstoke. We could have done with better directions.

The room was nice and warm on a very cold and frosty night.
Could do with better quality pillows.

The bartender with a french accent, he had the right I-Can attitude !
Cleanliness was low, service in reception area was very poor, Hot items at breakfast were cold, and fried eggs where prepared in 1 liter of oil, pretty disgusting. Due to the fact that the hotel is from 2001 i am amazed that everything is as worn down as it is. A burger in the on sunday was served well done, even though specifed medium 3 times. And served with expired ketchup, mustard and more.
