Holiday Inn Basildon, an IHG Hotel

That the hotel was closed. We had this hotel booked through your site. By taxi from Dalaman airport to Dalaman Park Hotel altos bring. Close. No alternative. With taxi drove around to another place. So very poorly regulated.

Large rooms, tastefully decorated.

First on arrival, despite no previous call to the reception, waiting in the rain, min 10th ! Second To eat in a dingy restaurant mechanism is through a forest without any lighting. Third Upon departure, what is the rudest staff I've ever seen! Unable to issue my statement, although amVorabend claims to the contrary. Snotty answers, and MP3 player in your ear, rather than worrying about the guest. Succinct statement: Unfortunately for them, I do not take into account here, they have booked through Expedia and everything so I do not care! A large nerve, this hotel has no leadership, unqualified staff! Never again! Best Western can probably expect more!

Closeness to eating facilities. Second room was clean, leak free and comfortable. Cleaning staff attitude to complaint about cleanliness of bathroom. Could not be more apologetic polite and efficient in sorting it.

Reception staff attitude when pointing out that radiator in room had leaked soiling a pair of trousers.

Reception & Breakfast service. Free Newspapers. Good beds

Excellent value for money (discounted rate!). Comfortable room and superb breakfast: waitress asked if I wanted poached eggs and these were cooked specially.
