Definitely need a car. staff great good value budget hotel

ON ARRIVAL THE BOOKING IN WAS ALREADY DONE, ALL I HAD TO DO WAS SIGN IN. THE WILLINGNESS OF THE NIGHT RECEPTIONIST TO HELP, AT A MOMENTS NOTICE. THE DILIGENCE AND ALL ROUND AMBIANCE THE STAFF GAVE ON ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE, WAS VERY NICE.

The bed was clean and comfortable

There was no bin in the bedroom to dispose of coffee sachets etc, we had to get the bin from the bathroom. There was no toilet brush in the bathroom. There were no spoons to stir tea/coffee. Basic TV was unavailable without paying £9.99 a night. The breakfast was honestly the worst we have ever experienced, the baked bean spoon had dried on beans that looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a week. The scrambled egg appeared to have some freshish mixed with some of yesterdays. ALL the bread was excessively stale. The hash browns were very flat and dry (I suspect they were days old. Very poor all round. I suspect the management have little interest in return custom. Next time we'll try the Premier Inn even though it is a bit more expensive.
