Gran Hotel Havana 4*Sup by Escampa Hotels

In terms of location, the hotel was further from Las Ramblas, etc. than advertised and not terribly well situated near services such as restaurants, cafes, etc. Overall the hotel is quite shabby with stained and spotted carpets in the hallways and room. The room also showed signs of wear, such as cracked and broke edges on wooden furniture. The bed was terrible -- it felt like I was sleeping on concrete. When I checked in and out, the staff barely acknowledged my presence and not once asked how my stay was. Truly this hotel is not worth the price nor does it deserve better than a two star rating.

Nice hotel with familiar atmosphere, suitable also for families with children; friendly staff

Excellent location, buffet breakfast, the best we have had in Spain so far, staff very accomodating and friendly. We were made to feel very welcome, and have chosen to return at the end of our stay in Spain.
