Beautiful hotel and romm . pool lovely also . wonderful place to stay .
Only one problem . The toilet/bathroom smelled rotten from xs mould all round the bath and under th washhand basin . This is a major problem .No ventilation in toilet probably does not help

A fabulous hotel. We were in a delux room with view into old cloistered courtyard. Of course it was stark and had a damp aroma, but that's what one would expect from a 16 th century stone monastery. We were thrilled because it was as we had hoped it would be.large room,couch made it so comfortable to move around.
Forget the restaurant....the ENTIRE stafff ( including manageress and chefs) should be either sacked or given training.
Fabulous cafes to dine at in main street....1 minute away .

It was a lovely situation and the pool was vital in August, but there was VERY little shade which meant that using it after 11am and before 4pm was not really an option for very long
Our superior room was in the modern block and the bathroom and lavatory were VERY small. If a client was more than 6' there is no way they could use the facilities in any comfort. The room was enormous if a bit gloomy so it was an extraordinarily bad design.

The atmosphere and calmness of the hotel during the day and evening was lovely.
The air conditioning was not particularly effective. In the early hours of the morning we were disturbed by some very drunken Americans who were clearly not quietened by hotel staff.
