Frienlines of the staff and closeness to the Railway Station
Would have been nice to have Dining Room staff who could speak english and/or menus in english. The Hotel is called "International"

I like this hotel because it feels very homely. We have been staying in this hotel in July for about 5 years now. It has a lovely big reception area to relax in the soft chairs. We eat dinner in the resturant a few night and the food was beautiful and the waitress was very pleasant and friendly.
We did not like the room that we got as it overlooked a car park. We usually get a lovely room overlooking the main road.

Reception, central location.
Room far too small, bed as well. Little storage space. Lack of information about parking in the garage. No reservations possible. Garage extremely narrow - difficult with larger cars.

The location was ideal. The breakfast was good value for money
Attention to the room fell short at the weekend. There was a lack of such things as hooks in the bathroom and the supply of such items as soap and toilet paper. On one occasion the staff had to be asked to replenish the tea making facilities in the room and some of the litht bulbs were not working. In general I thought that the hotel compared to other Best Western hotels I have stayed in was a bit tired. I think it would be beneficial if the management took a good look at the hotel from the point of view of the paying guest. Noat terribly impressed.

Room was reasonably large, well appointed and very clean. Good bathroom with bath and shower - again very clean. Good secure parking although a little difficult to negotiate when garage was full. Hotel in a good location, quite close to the centre but also adjacent to the main roads out of Annecy. Would definitely stay here again

1. Maxime at reception was extremely polite & helpful during our stay.
2. Spaciousness room.
3. Cleanliness
4. The selection for the buffet breakfast was excellent.
Even though the restaurant was catering on Sunday evening, we were declined dinner because there was insufficient capacity in the dining room. We then had to walk 20 minutes to find something to eat!
