Very good hotel with excellent location

Overall, this hotel was great, the staff were really poite and helpful. The breakfast was lovely, my partner even ate breakfast and that's saying something. It was sooo close to Dam Square, Red Light District and a cute market. The connection from and back to the airport was smooth and the drivers were cool. Totally recommend and stay again.

Perfectly located hotel in the center of Amsterdam. One can easily explore on foot the city and is dependent not even on public transport. Priced more in the upper segment, but it is worth to invest the money.

We really enjoyed the staff, and the location of the property. One night was not long enough to enjoy the sites of Amsterdam.

Warm and professional. Spontanné upgrade our room because we missed the first night because of weather problems prevented our plane from taking off. Recommended. For me, this is an address to remember:)

Given that we booked this hotel with 4 star standards in mind, my travel companions (in a a separate room)and I found the overall quality to be very disappointing. I thought that the room was small. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room were sub-standard i.e. plastic teacups and powdered milk. When we commented on the plastic cups in the rooms, the front desk referred us to "housekeeping".....a definite case of "passing the buck", I feel. My travel companions had to ask for slippers, which I thought would have been standard service at the price. Overall, I would rate the hotel as average, but not four star quality, and therefore short of what I expected.
