PortBlue Club Pollentia Resort

Lovely place to stay, different to the usual apartment/hotel complex's, only a few minutes bus ride to Pollensa. Not really anywhere to walk to though. Beach opposite the complex not very good but excellent further into Pollensa. Food OK but not 4 star standard. Entertainment OK usual holiday type. Plenty going on with Hotel entertainment team although takes you a few days to realise it. Great pool - even the ducks and ducklings that roam around like it - we saw them get it to the pool a couple of times.

On arrival at 10.00pm the receptionist could not find a record of our booking and stated that the hotel was full. She also commented that it made no difference that we had made a booking nearly three months in advance. The matter was eventually resolved and we were given a downstairs room, though we had origionally requested an upstairs room with a balcony. Accomodation was more 3* than 4* and the buildings were getting rather tired looking. The sporting facilities looked good, though we did not use them as we were in Pollensa for a wedding and otherwise occupied for most of our stay.

Great hotel, safe and relaxed atmosphere, ideal for families. Wonderful location, lovely gardens and fantastic swimming pool. Will come back anytime I can afford it. The children are addicts!

Club Pollentia is a very good Resort w frindly staff but after being there last 4 years the Village rooms need a make over reg. beds, blankets.....

All resort is a wonderful oasis of tranquility, where we found everything for the restful and enjoyable holiday! We stayed 10 days in a Village Hotel on a half-board basis. Upon arrival at the late evening, around 23 h, we were kindly welcomed by the reception staff, and after a quick check-in invited to take a cold meal in the restaurant, where we found a wide choise of delicious meals, deserts and fruits. Despite of so late time, the restaurant was opened for the guests, who missed their dinner on the day of arrival. We were taken to our room with a golf buggy by the courteous boy, who helped to carry all our luggage to our room. The first impressions are always right! Our room was very spacious, clean, well-equipped, with a large balcony and a spectacular view to the garden. It was very pleasant to find a bottle of welcoming wine in the room :)) Moreover, a high-speed wireless internet is available in the room for free! All resort is nestled in a beautiful garden, with two great swimming pools, sports area, spa, souvenir shops, free car parking for the guests. It's located on the sea-cost at the main road connecting the ports of Pollentia and Alcudia (both are worth to visit!) White sandy beaches are few kilometers away: one in the port of Pollentia, another in the port of Alcudia, so it's highly recommendable to have a car. In any case a car is absolutely necessary, if you wish to explore all beauty of the island. In conclusion, considering the hotel service, location and value for money it was our best choise of the holiday!

The hotel was almost perfect. The location very pleasant, quiet, you wake up with singing birds. Organization of stay in the hotel spotless. Room cleaning not always on top (the bathroom was done thoroughly every day, what is most important, not always the floor in the bedroom). The servers were not always very motivated to work (a small minority, however).

We were very impressed with the hotel overall however we were very dissappointed with the beach. we were led to believe that the hotel was located accross from a sandy beach. This is not the case. The pool area could do with more regular cleaning and some of the staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful. The entertainment was excellent and they very much catered for children. They could do with increasing the amount of high chairs in the restaurants as often we didn't have one for our one year old and this was very inconvenient.

Very good hotel if not quite 4 star. great location, beautiful gardens but generally rooms etc. a little dated and could do with modernising. Food mostly good for a package deal. price got through Eurobookings great - less than half brochure price when flights allowed for.Will use Eurobookings again.

Very good value for money, buffet food was of really high quality and tasty, perfect place for a sport holiday.

Very pleasant and nice facility with well-kept garden and nice pools. Position requires that you have access to a car or bicycle.
