Main reason for choosing Golden Tulip Zoetermeer - Den Haag: Location
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The room was excellent and the bathroom was very comfortable. The next morning when I checked out, I got coffee for me and 2 guests and the hotel staff didn't let me pay for it which was a very nice jesture on their end.
I loved my stay there. Checkout time is a bit too early (11:00am) but the front desk extended my checkout a bit, still something like 12:00 - 1:00pm is better especially on weekends when guests might like to sleep late.

Ideal location for visiting Den Haag, Rotterdam, Leiden and Amsterdam.

The first room I was given was in use! The bed was unmade and towels in the bath? The second room the floor was dirty, (dirty wet foot marks), the third room, (an upgrade) was only just ok! The carpet was badly stained and the room smelt. Needless to say I will not be staying at the Golden Tulip again if I can help it!!

The reception was great and the assigned room is attractively decorated. The staff is friendly and attentive. Breakfast is comprehensive and is constantly expanded. In short, a great hotel.
The only consideration might be that the lighting in the room was not optimal. A little on the dark side.
