The Groves is a very impressive hotel that offers excellent service. The full English breakfast was superb. Besides, it's only 10-minute work to the city centre. Great location.

Pleasant, quiet location within walking distance of city centre with car parking available.
Attic room with small window and as very hot when stayed there, very stuffy and hot with low attic ceiling

Clean cosy bed.
Room was a single ie you could just get past the bed! Television set so high on the wall my neck ached looking at it - admittedly there is nowhere else to put it the room is so small. Nowhere to put a toilet bag other than on the floor and the chest of drawers/dresser also had no space to put anything due to tea tray. Room is not really even a single although the bathroom is full size!

Convenient location, close to city centre, but in a quiet cul-de-sac. And with off-street parking. Everything you could want in a small hotel.

The locatoin is verey good only a 10 minuet strole to Mary gate the staff are verey helpfull the room we stopped in was in the anex part of the hotel it was alarge room wit a patio door. The breakfast is verey good.

Friendly family run hotel which is in the process of being refurbished, our room was OK but a bit tired and is for refurbishing in a months time
