The staff were excellent & we would highly recommend the location and facilities of the hotel.

The shower head in the bathroom needs adjustment.

Attempts to be eco-friendly

It's a nice hotel, the pool and spa were good, the grounds are lovely and the rooms. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great a good selection although a bit pricey at 14 euro.

I stayed there twice once last July and this year in march. I found it to be a much nicer stay last year, there were a couple of small but significant things this year that bothered me. We went as a group and although the menu said food didn't finish unroll 9 a couple of us couldn't get bar food at 8.30 even tho some of us who had ordered 15 mins before were only on our starter. The bar also ran out of large bottles of cider at around 9.30 pm and they had none on draft either so we had to go down the town earlier than we had hoped. The residents bar also stopped serving quite early at half two and it was a Saturday night. We mentioned some of this at reception in the morning and the woman was very nice about it and thanked us for the feedback. All in all it's a lovely hotel and it was a fine place to stay maybe just the bar needs reviewing.

Bar service was slow, not enough staff at times. Breakfast was just average.

Spa was amazing. All staff very friendly and helpfull. Was disappointed as we got an old room the hadnt been done up yet, but the room had had been done up were lovely

Prices in the bar would put me off drinking in the hotel as compared to other hotels or bars in the area.

Close to town yet far enough away

Staff were not customer friendly . I ordered a starter and a main course on Sunday evening and they brought both out together as if they were in a rush and some 15min later they asked me if I wanted them to reheat the main course.I reported this to Mary on reception who went to check and returned with an apology, its not the first time ive had problems with this hotel.
