Only used as a staging point this time, Had a family reunion at Tatsfield
so after looking at the local hostels you were the nearest, and by far the cheapest overnight stay. We came through the Tunnel early Sunday Morning
called in to the services to see if we could bookin as we would not be back till late and was made most welcome. Room 22 was excellent.

My relatives live West of Clacket Lane which means a detour coming back since the hotel can't be approached from the West.

The happy and helpful receptionists, and the quick responses when we asked for a second chair so we could sit and watch TV

Quietness in the room from traffic noise. Easy access to food in the service area.
Yes. There is no covered way between Hotel entrance and entrance to motorway service. When we stayed the weather was bad and we got wet each time we crossed to the service/food area.

Nothing apart from the convenient situation of the hotel
The bedroom was colourless and drab. The bathroom was in need of redecoration. Whilst the bed was comfortable, there was NO HOT WATER throughout our 2 night stay. The problem predated our arrival. The hotel manager should have arranged alternate accomodation at another hotel in the vicinity. A refund was given but this was little compensation for walking around dirty for two days!

On arrival we asked if food hall in srevice area was open we were told only cosa was open i declined to go there. Your manager Tessa went the extra mile to make our stay brilliant she went to costa & got a bacon toastie for myself with staff like Tessa your competitors will have long gone.

Very comfortable room - large and very well equipped. Excellent.
We had a room on the ground, and were disturbed at night by people outside quarreling.
