Gut gelegen, sehr hilfsbereite, freundliche Service, Bett bequem.
Es ist kein Hotel zum Ferien machen, sehr "basic". Das Haus braucht eine Auffrischung. Aber für den Preis für eine Nacht ist es adequat. Alles funktioniert, Dusche, TV usw.

Our host was very considerate and most informative and helpful concerning local conditions and prices. Breakfast was good and we especially liked the coffee. Generally, good value for money.

Extremely helpful people, very welcoming, rooms were fine, we had a comfortable night. Soundproofing was really good, as this is on main road. They have a good relationship with the taxi firm close by and that is important for travelling to and from Heathrow. Knocked spots of the black cab brigade at Heathrow, who didnt know where this hotel is ! My rating of 6 throughout is because I was not sure if 10 was high or low. Blame my jet lag if you like. I would definitely use the hotel again based on my overnight Heathrow needs.
The reception and dining room areas are a bit tired and need a makeover. Breakfast, if taken early needs to be well highlighted by a customer as they are not naturally geared up to doing full breakfasts very early, which needs to be the case for some customers catching some flights, especially for USA.. Not to worry if customer makes it clear ;they always have continental breakfasts on hand. A coffee machine/ hot drink facility in the dining room would be handy for early morning risers.

We found Patricia to be extremely helpful with advice and information when asked. She provided local information on shops and services. My wife broke her glasses and Patricia was able to direct us to a couple of opticians in the area. We also needed to contact some people in Uxbridge and again, Patricia was extremely helpful even to phoning telephone enquiries to make sure we had the right information.

Unexpectedly, I had a layover in Heathrow. I stumbled across the Oakwood Bed and Breakfast and was blessed by their caring staff. Lost on the streets of London, they welcomed me with open arms and assured that I had safe and timely travel back to the airport the next morning. I can't say enough good things about them.

Fine for overnight stay between flights.

Inexpensive. Owner e-mailed very much detailed information about how to get there
A bit shabby, shared bathroom, but didn`t matter for such short stay and low price.
