Thr hotel was just average, clean, spacious, in a nice older structure -- and a good value, but what made it exceptional was its very close proximity to Vendome which we have come to learn is perhaps the most incredibly scenic small town in the Loir/Loire area while also being fairly central to the area. We would definetely go back. The breakfast is also over the top.
