Hotel Sercotel Alfonso VI

The breakfast did not meet a 4-star hotel. And then: Paper napkins? The service in the breakfast room left much to be desired.

Very good service and very pleasant.

Located in the centre of Toledo right outside the Alcazar this was a great spot to stay. The room was enourmous with veiws over the city and a bathroom you could hold a party in. The hotel was littered with suits of armour etc, but then so is Toledo. We had a very good meal in the attached resturant at a reasonable price. Breakfasts were OK but spoilt by the use of an automatic dispensing machine for coffee. Unfortuneatly on the third day a large number of guests had arrived and consequenlty I had a cold shower and the breakfast room was chaotic.

I had my wallet picked out of my bag in Toledo and staff of the hotel were exceptionally understanding and helpful with contacting police and cancelling credit cards. The buffet breakfast was also good with lots of choice. However, generally l feel that the hotel doesn't deserve it's 4 star rating. The foyer feels new and bright but my room was a little old and sad, the bed uncomfortable and creaky and there was no mini-bar. The rooms need renovating or redecorating at least to bring them up to the standard that I'd expect of 4 stars.

Good morning, just a couple of comments, the music room was only one: Cadena Dial, there was only sijecion supply and the shower in the bathroom is bad, also the tub right in the spots or descorchones drain has not I know exactly, otherwise well.
