Perfect location for our vacation in Stresa. Directly on the lake, beautiful hotel and excellent services. Pool/spa is perfect after a long day sightseeing. Well worth the extra dollars.

The location was convenient. The room was nice and clean, although fairly cramped.
The front desk staff was rude and not service oriented. Their attitudes and willingness to help were not impressive. The front desk staff was the worst of our 10 days of travel in Italy. They charged for the lobby computer use which should have been included in the price of the room, imho.

I like most things, location and the gardin and the decorating and i like the friendly staff in every location, who let u feel that is really your home.
The room was not insulated well agains the noises and another guest sounds. And there is some guest dont care about the others in the night specially when they making some party in there sweats

Everything was fine and we will return with pleasure at this hotel.
The rest area around the pool is somewhat limited and one or duex times we could have a couch at our disposal.

One of the top five stays in our 21 years of marriage. It was romatic and incredible in every way. We love the location and everything about the Des Iles Borromees. The history regarding the hotel also was a huge plus.
