We had a lovely view of the lake. Our waiter in the hotel restaurant every night was lovely.
The room, sold as a "junior suite" was much too small - not good price performance.

Would like to have been informed that our room was not in the main building to allow us the option of finding a better position within the hotel. Also found the bathroom very messy. The shower went everywhere and toiletries were not replaced each day. Overall we were very disappointed with our room and found it completely overfurnished which made it difficult to move around.

Stresa was an enormous surprise for us. It is a gorgeous resort town, with belle epoque hotels along with a small Italian village feel. Everyone is out promenading all day and late into the evening. Our hotel was one of the Belle Epoque structures with gorgeous grounds and a beautiful lobby with many areas to sit both inside and out. We didn't take meals there, but there are so many options just outside the door along the lakeside for delicious cafe and croissant it seemed a shame to sit inside a hotel! The pools and other facilities are great. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. It provides a welcome rest and relaxation stop in a hectic European travel trip!
The room we booked through eurobookings was priced well, but the room was quite small. This wasn't really a problem as we spent most of our time outside...just be aware. Also, while we had a huge "terrace", it looked more like the flat roof of a garage, and indeed we faced the parking area. But we paid a lower price and understood this was what was sacrificed. For a view you pay more!

The best thing about the hotel is the view and the big balcony. Our dinner, however, was inedible. The food was so terrible, we could not even eat it. So basically we threw away over 100 euros on a meal that we could not eat. The breakfast may have been good, but after the dinner fiasco, my husband wouldn't even try it - so we walked into town for breakfast.

Our room was narrow, but nice. The balcony and view were lovely.
Again - our dinner was truly awful. A step "down" from airplane food.
