Holiday Inn Southend, an IHG Hotel

We Loved the restaurant overlooking the Airport. The rooms were quite and airy. Our stay was a very positive experience.

Staff were a credit to your organisation.

Food too 'chefie' which spoilt the main dish (meat). A dish with an assortment of vegetables would be far more acceptable! Wine prices were a rip-off like for like compared with The Bell Carvery - exactly twice the price. The Bell charges twice Sainsburys price which is reasonable considering storage & corkage but you charge four times that price. For a 1935 restaurant complete with art deco ambiance the music is all wrong it should be of the period. You have the opportunity to make this the in place in Southend but sadly it's nothing special but has the potential to be really something.
