Imperial Hotel Tramontano

Very enjoyable and convenient. Excellent view and breakfasts.

Excellent location. Staff very helpful and unassuming. Although expensive we felt the location and standard of hotel was worth it. Would visit again.

Great location. Staff excellent.Did not have dinner or drinks in hotel as it was too expensive. Breakfast was ok except for the fruit juices which tasted of a watered down version of the cheap supermarket variety.....Reception staff member was very unhelpful when I asked to borrow an iron as we were attending a wedding that day. A curt NO !!!!!

The Hotel was in a fantastic location. The view was incredible. The grounds were beautiful and it was nice to have the little beach below accessible, albeit a little pricey. Most of the staff were very friendly and accomodating. One or two at the front desk were a bit snippy and rude. The room itself was mediocre and not well kept, but the view from the room helped us to overlook it's flaws. The breakfast was fantastic as was the service in the dining room.

The beach at the hotel was down an elevator ride through the mountain - if you missed the elevator hours - it was quite a hike up the mountain. It also seemed very windy at this location where you needed to rent chaise lounges since it was not the hotel's beach. View was magnificent from restaurant and bar (balacony rooms - gardens were lovely, continental breakfast was great, two styles of eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, pastries, fruit, fruit juices, cereals. Very enjoyable in a beautiful restaurant with a great view.

The reception staff were friendly and professional.Breakfast was simple and always included freshly prepared fruit. The restaurant and bar staff were extremely attentive.Try to learn a few Italian words such as thank you etc.The chambermaids could not have made our stay more enjoyable providing extra pillows and constantly running up to open rooms after our children left their key inside and this was always done with a smile.Our rooms were beautiful with balconies and amazing sea views (Rooms 332 double and 333 triple).Bedding and towels were changed daily.The WiFi works better in the lobby although there is an internet booth (remember to log off each time you use the internet as you will lose your credit).Take a bathing towel to use on the Jetty, entrance is free but you pay for deckchairs.Take a travel kettle and cups there are no tea making facilities. The pool bar is great and the staff really kind and helpful, we have 3 teenagers and they can't wait to return to the Tramantano! A*
