Discreet but efficient staff, Great facilities, Fairytale setting and location -mountains/ sea/ forests- with all the associated activities you might want at a challenge level to suit your appetite-absolutely World Class destination where they manage to blend child friendly ameneties with Adult only periods for quiet time.
Observation only-there was a rusted shower curtain rail in our downstairs Bathroom-minor item but worth replacing as its a small distraction in an otherwise excellent facility

The location is magnificant and the views amazing.Beautiful
Appreciate that the essence of the hotel is old world however some modernisation of the rooms could be done while keeping the character eg the hairdryer in our room did not work also the lamp in the same part of the room did not work.

The location and the Spa and swimming pool
There were many things we did not like about our stay this time. The Hotel lacked direction and proper management. There seemed to be a cloud hanging over the staff. No smiling faces.

The staff were execlant and the food which we had on both night was fab realy enjoyed our stay.
Bottle water in the room would have been nice I drink a lot of water and I will not drink from the taps. We didnt get robes or slippers which I think is a nice touch. Over all a very pleasent weekend Marie & Shane.

Apart from the Scenery nothing.
The room was dirty. Stain on the bedsheet, dirty marks on the wall. Musty smell in the wardrobes, no vanity unit in the bathroom, shower was a disgrace, hardly any water pressure. Staff were disinterested and I did not get any apology after complaining. We left after two nights, we were booked in for three.

Location is just majestic. The room was just amazing with all the comforts you can imagine, the view from the room was breathtaking. The gardens are a great amenity as is the great spa complex.
While the meal was very tasty the prices in the present climate were a bit demanding.

I was very disappointed with my room as it was in the old part of the hotel. From what I had heard I thought it would be so much better, I have stayed in places far better that there is no hipe about whatsoever! Time to up date the TV in bedrooms and a dvd would be nice as one cant really go any where in the evening.

Location, Food and athmosphere
We found the service totally unacceptable.Booked dinner @ 8.00 p.m.- starters arrived over 1 hour later.In the bar we ordered 2 cheese plates and had to wait almost 1 hour,(2 further requests). On the 2nd night we drove to a nearby restaurant for dinner because of our experience.Both mornings we had problems over breakfast,coffees ordered on arrival in the dining room,served as we were almost finished eating. Overall very dissapointed and did complain to management.

A wonderful relaxing few days in lovely surroundings with lovely pleasant staff

Loved the spa and the bedroom
Would have liked a table dote menu in the restaurant maybe with three courses
