Holiday Inn London - Shepperton, an IHG Hotel

Air conditioning. Quietness.

Room size. Luke warm breakfasts. Breakfast beverages. Failure to service bedroom.

Absence of hen/stag/wedding parties where attendees seem to drink beyond the point of contentment with all the associated disturbance this caused on my last visit (eg smoke alArm going off and evacuation of guests after the bride of all people chose to smoke in her room. It didn't happen this time fortunately.

The swimming pooland jacuzzi were dirty

Beautiful location set in wonderful grounds. The hotel is efficiently run and the staff were friendly.

Being on the 'mezzanine floor', we had no choice but to carry our suitcases up and down several stairs; not ideal.

Location (various members of family attending funeral.) Quiet and Peaceful Bar/Food adequate for needs Pleasant and helpful staff

1) Faulty bedside light fitting. 2) Water leaking from somewhere into bath overflow. 3) Start up noise from plant (water filling /heating?)during night hours from 12.00 midnight to about 1.30am. 4) One of two room keys did not work reliably. (List of faults applicable to room 315 was accepted at desk on departure.) 5)Priority Club benefits not freely explained until asked later - e.g. we could have had free newspapers. 6) Priority Club Points. My additional booking for P D Osborne for 4 nights apparently did not qualify for Priority Points, despite my giving you this extra business. 7) Eurobookings system did not appear to permit any modifications to bookings, other than cancellation.

Pool opening hours for children aged 12-16yrs old. Pool closes at 7pm for this age group. I think it would be more reasonable if it were 9pm.

Breakfast and bar food was very good.

The water in the shower in the morning was cold for all 3 days of staying at the hotel. In formed reception, but nothing changed. Local vendor machine for soft drinks did not work during total stay and as hotel is remote to local shops this was a little difficult.
