The staff at the reception desk was especially friendly and helpful -- not only one individual, but all who I interacted with. And you can't beat the location, right by the Aquaduct.
There was one irritating problem which may well be temporary. They were doing repairs in the hotel on the two days we stayed there (second week of July, 2012) and sounds of hammers, drills, etc. began around 7:30 in the morning. I would suggest beginning the repair work, or at least the use of loud machines for that purpose, somewhat later in the morning.

The help we got from Sabastian was great. He was so helpful and friendly and really went out of his way to make us comfortable.

The central location and the buffet breakfast.
No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. One member of staff serving at bar AND doing room service was not enough. We waited 20 minutes for a coffee.

I enjoyed my stay in Segovia and found the hotel staff to be helpful and friendly. I particularly liked the free internet access which allowed me to check my email. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is within easy walking distance of many of the city's attractions and the underground parking is a major asset if you are driving.

Its location make it very easy to walk to most of the city's attractions. My room allowed a great view of the aqueduct.
I needed to lower the room temperature during the night and this necessitated a call to the front desk at 3.30am. It would be more convenient to allow the occupant to do this themselves.
