Hôtel Anne d'Anjou,The Originals Collection

Having stayed at the hotel several times over the past few years, value for money has decreased and seem to charge five star prices for a three star value. There is no restaurant facilities at the hotel, and the 'recommended' Les Menestrels restaurant 'on site' is very much above an average cost for the area. No problem to eat elsewhere as the central town location is a good factor. In our view, the room charge was very high for the very average facilities afforded and breakfast and parking were an unwelcome and disappointing additional expenditure.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 25 years although I haven't been in the last ten. Always found the staff helpful and friendly. A little bit out of the centre of Saumur but this is no bad thing. The hotel itself has a great interior, the staicase is a treat.

We enjoyed your hotel very much and felt very welcome . Everything was to our satisfaction and staying in an old partly listed hotel was an added bonus. The buffet breakfast was delivered with a lot of panache and the quaint way of boiling the eggs every morning was very unique. Thanks again
